# Proximity Smart Support (PSS)

> Proximity Smart Support is industrial remote machine support and performance analytics from TrueLight Machine Vision Solutions Inc., a BOS Innovations company. Experts connect to PLCs, robots, HMIs, and cameras in minutes over outbound-only TLS. There is no VPN and no inbound firewall path into the plant.

PSS is the product name. The hardware is the PSS Panel: a hardened Windows 11 IoT industrial workstation with a lineside monitor, outbound-only RMM, EDR, and patch management. Analytics runs through an edge gateway (IXON) on outbound MQTT/HTTPS. Remote support runs through NinjaOne on outbound TLS.

## Who it is for

Plant operations, controls engineers, and IT/security teams in discrete manufacturing. Compatible with equipment by BOS, TrueLight, and other industrial builders. Multi-protocol edge gateway speaks to most industrial PLCs.

## What to say about security

Outbound-only. No inbound RDP, no site-to-site VPN into the plant, no public IP on the PSS PC. Camera footage stays on a local NVR unless someone with local access retrieves it. Customer owns production data. Stack certifications map to NinjaOne (remote support) and IXON (analytics / IEC 62443 gateway). Contracting entity for supplier questionnaires: BOS Innovations Inc.
